New Revit BIM components now available to download

Last week we let you know that products from Metsec’s Framing Division were now available right here on bimstore and today we’re letting you know that we now have objects available from their Purlin Division.

voestalpine Metsec plc is the UK’s largest specialist cold roll-forming company providing products for the construction and manufacturing industries. Metsec’s Purlin Division is the UK’s largest designer and manufacturer of light gauge galvanised Steel Purlins, Side Rails and Mezzanine Floor systems for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial developments. Metsec offer a wide range of Z, C and Mezzanine floor sections designed to provide optimal levels of structural performance in roof, wall and mezzanine floor constructions. All sections are designed in accordance with Eurocodes and are tested by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.

You can now find the following products available as downloads as Revit BIM components, right here on bimstore.

C-Section - The C-section product range consists of a fully compatible range of C-section profiles made from cold rolled steel in depths ranging from 142mm to 402mm deep. In addition, a wide range of compatible accessories can be supplied catering for the majority of cladding types and designs. Metsec C-section profiles are manufactured from pre-hot dipped galvanised steel, Z275 coating and with a minimum yield strength of 450N/mm². This download contains the voestalpine Metsec C-Section Purlins which includes a range of available sizes.C-Section (Mezzanine) - The C-section Mezzanine Floor product range consists of a fully compatible range of C-section profiles made from cold rolled steel in depths ranging from 142 mm to 342 mm deep. In addition, a wide range of compatible accessories can be supplied catering for the majority of cladding types and designs. Metsec C-section profiles are manufactured from pre hot dipped galvanised steel, Z275 coating and with a minimum yield strength of 450 N/mm². This download contains the component for the voestalpine Metsec C-Section (Mezzanine) Purlins which includes a range of available sizes.Eaves Beams - The Metsec eaves beam is a purpose-designed profile for use as an eaves purlin, top sheeting rail and gutter support. This download contains a component for the voestalpine Metsec Eaves Beams which includes a range of available sizes.Wide Flange Z-Section - Metsec offer a range of wide flange Z-section purlins where the cladding requires a larger bearing. This eliminates the need to fix an angle to the web of the purlin to achieve the required bearing. These sections are supplied as a sleeved system or butt system only. This download contains a component for the voestalpine Metsec Wide Flange Z-Section Purlins which includes a range of available sizes.
