Clerkenwell Design Week kicks off tomorrow – we’ll be there, will you?

In case you're still finalising your plans, we thought we’d just give you a quick rundown of where you will be able to find bimstore at #CDW2016and also what some of our other top manufacturers will be up to over the next few days.

Clerkenwell Design Week, now in it's 7th year, is the UK’s leading independent design festival and it annually attracts the international design community to this small area of London for three days of exciting events. This years event is running from 24th-26th May 2016.

We’ve already told you that we’ll be hanging out with our friends at Flexiform Office Furniture. Yes, on Tuesday 24th May 2016 you’ll be able to find us at the Flexiform London Showroom were we will be presenting all about BIM for manufacturers at 12.30pm. This is also the place to grab yourself a pie and a pint and there will be the opportunity to see bimstore Eye in action as Flexiform debuts their first steps into Augmented Reality with their Olio desking range.

That’s not the only place you’ll be able to find us though – oh no! If you head over to Ideal Standard on Tuesday 24th May 2016, you’ll be able to catch up with bimstore throughout the day where we will be giving seminars with Ideal Standard’s BIM specialist Lee Jones. On Wednesday, Ideal Standard’s specialist ceramic team will be there demonstrating live slip casting giving you the chance to interact with the pieces that they have on show and understand the expertise of their teams.

Some of our other manufacturers are taking part in Clerkenwell Design Week too.

Why not check out what Interface will be up to alongside the launch of their latest campaign at Clerkenwell Design Week. The campaign, Negative to Positive, surrounds Interface’s ongoing journey to Mission Zero – to eliminate any negative impact it may have on the environemtn by 2020 – and showcases how Interface’s journey to date has netted real results and how beautiful thinking is dramatically changing the built environment. Orangebox will be debuting their new Northampton Road Smartworking building for the first time. This newly opened facility is the largest venue in central London, focused on the concerns, dynamics and solutions for their new collaborative workspaces and the technological/generational changes sweeping through the workplace. You’ll also be able to catch up with Forbo at CDW2016 who will be showing off their re-designed showroom and launching several new products including Forbo Synergy – their brand new holistic workspace collection which offers huge scope for creating stunning floor designs due to its modular format, varied functionality and exciting textures and colourways. Forbo are celebrating the launch of this collection by offering the chance for CDW visitors to win a meal for two at a Michelin 3* London restaurant!

Last but not least why not stop by the Altro London Showroom for the launch of their brand new showroom design by Ab Rogers Design and Altro’s explorations on a colour theme.
