Don’t forget to enter the bimstore competition to win your ticket!

BIM Show Live is taking place on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 February 2017, and after an amazing response to its call for speakers last month, the programme for the seminar streams have now been announced. In 2017 there will be four streams as follows;Strategy - Some people like to hear about the process and the people behind the BIM. How did it work; how did it start; how did you get anyone to join in; what made the difference? This stream is all about ‘the fluffy stuff’ that sits behind all good technology stories. SEE SPEAKERS.Next Generation - Some people watch the Nobel prizes and immediately think about how that might affect our industry. Others apply scripting to design tools, or cloud processing to optimise construction sequencing. This stream is about those on the bleeding edge, and the challenges they face. SEE SPEAKERS

Data - Some people spend Saturday mornings debating classification standards, or worse still, tweeting about it so we all get involved. So much of our industry today is built upon data, there is an ever-increasing spectrum of applications for it. This stream has that at its core. SEE SPEAKERS

Stories - One thing we have learnt over the past 5 years is that stories make the most popular classes. How all of this is put into action in the real world; how it all went right, and how it all went wrong; what did we learn, and what would we do next time. Tell your story, your way, in this stream. SEE SPEAKERS

The full programme will be launched on the BIM Show Live website later this week but you can see the confirmed speakers for each stream by following the link above. Rob Charlton, CEO at Space Group and joint founder of BIM Show Live recently gave BIMcrunch his view: “BIM Show Live is all about challenging the norm and we didn’t want to bring people the same old tales of BIM that they have been hearing for the past five years. We’re offering a programme that with hopefully educate our audience on how to create smart data and help those who are perhaps struggling to reach Level 2 achieve this goal.”

Here at bimstore, we’re really looking forward to attending BIM Show Live 2017, which looks set to be the best yet! Don’t forget you could win your ticket to the conference by entering our BIMworld competition which is live now. Read more about it here. We can’t wait to see your creations!
