BIM objects for innovative thermal and acoustic solutions now live

We’re starting off the week again with a nice little introduction to one of the latest manufacturers to bring their BIM objects to bimstore.

Thermal Economicsspecialise in innovative thermal and acoustic solutions for the construction industry and have been providing their unique insulations for over 30 years. Their products, which are used by a number of the largest house builders in the UK, are designed to provide cost effective, sustainable and easy-to-install solutions that meet and exceed building regulation requirements and last the lifetime of the building.

There are currently two listings live on bimstore for Thermal Economics.

First we have acoustic products insulation range which includes Isorubber Base and Isorubber Code. Isorubber Base is an acoustic isolation and vibration reduction mat which is primarily used in concrete and timber floor systems, but can also be used in general sound proofing and noise reduction applications while Isorubber Code is primarily used in concrete floor systems and also can be used in general sound proofing applications. The Isorubber range of products has become one of the best known within the UK acoustic sector.

Next is the thermal products range which includes Alreflex Platinum insulation boards, Alreflex Ultratherm insulation boards, Alreflex 1L1 foil bubble insulation, TE Platinum Ground Floor Insulation graphite enhanced EPS insulation board and Therma-breathe BBA Certified Class W1 insulating breather membrane. The Alreflex range of products are still the only materials available that hold a BBA certificate as a cavity wall insulation and cavity rainwater barrier, providing a unique duel defense against heat loss and the ingress water across a cavity wall.
