The original BIM content library bimstore are to be present at a leading hotel design event later this week.

Teaming with BIM.Technologies to represent Space Group, the BIM-driven franchises are teaming up to host a 'digital lounge' with augmented reality experts Soluis Group at Sleep’s ‘The Design Hotel Event’ on November 26th through 27th in the Business Design Centre, London.

The two-day event will see bimstore, BIM.Technologies and Soluis unite in the VIP Room and provide delegates with a must-attend experience that will feature the latest augmented reality, visual immersion and virtual reality technology solutions that can provide hotel projects with outstanding levels of quality & efficiency. The aforementioned technological platforms are seen as fantastic accompaniments that help facilitate the BIM process by allowing architects, building owners and contractors to have a sense of what it is like to be like in a building - in the case of this event a hotel - before a single brick has even been laid. Delegates can see bimstore created and hosted objects implemented in hotel BIM models, showcasing the power of a BIM workflow.

Hoteliers looking to expand their enterprise or find ways to help better manage their current buildings are encouraged to come along and realise the positive impact that implementing Building Information Modelling processes and immersive technologies could have on their business.

The groups are to present a 5 step, end-to-end process, detailing how BIM and AR/VR technology can assist one-another from design concept to build out.

Speaking to our sister site BIMcrunch about the event, bimstore Founder, Adam Ward stated that bimstore “are incredibly excited to partner with Soluis to showcase the future of augmented reality software and how utilising it alongside BIM can create only a fantastic visual USP for businesses, but also help architects constructing hotels to build their buildings better."

The Digital Lounge website is now live. Access it via this link.
