Some of our great bimstore manufacturers are proudly supporting Fire Door Safety Week this week which is running from 14th – 20th September.

Supported by a wide range of organisations, Fire Door Safety Week is the brainchild of the British Woodworking Federation, BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme and Fire Door Inspection Scheme. The main aims of Fire Door Safety Week are to raise awareness of the critical role of fire doors, drawing attention to specific issues such as poor installation and maintenance and to encourage building owners and users to check the operation and condition of their fire doors. There is also a focus on engaging and educating people to help the industry and property owners to understand the correct specification, supply, installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of fire doors.

Amongst the bimstore manufacturers supporting this awareness week are Dortek and DORMA.
